This spring, Tulsa Public Schools will select new curricula for pre-K students and for all social studies courses from kindergarten to 12th grade. The new curricula will be implemented in 2020-2021 school year. We believe that our community is essential, and community feedback is integral to our curriculum selection process.

Parents, students, community members, teachers, and school leaders are invited to share their thoughts and insights on our 2020-2021 curricula at the following events:

  • Curriculum Review Opportunity
    Feb. 1 – Feb. 29 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (weekdays only)
    Wilson Teaching and Learning Academy
Visit the library at Wilson Teaching and Learning Academy (2710 E. 11 Street) to review the resources on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or online.

  • Curriculum Review Open House
    Feb. 11 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
    Wilson Teaching and Learning Academy
Join us for an Open House on Feb. 11 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Wilson Teaching and Learning Academy (2710 E. 11 Street). Attendees will an opportunity to meet the curriculum publishers, ask questions, and share feedback.

Our teachers are the heart of all that we do, so there also be opportunities for educators to bring their insight and expertise to the process. Pre-K and social studies teachers will vote for their curriculum of choice on Feb. 14. Our Instructional Resource Selection Committee will use the feedback from our committee and educators to select one resource for each course or grade level. The final curriculum selections will be completed by March 2020.
