The quality learning experience awaiting four-year-olds at Cooper Elementary is second to none. Cooper is one of many schools in the district that offers this free program to children who turn four years old on or before September 1st of the current year.
Starting on Tuesday, Feb. 18 through Friday, Feb. 21, our Enrollment Center will be open to the public from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.
Over the last four years, we have worked to align our district office team structures to best meet the needs of our school leaders, teachers, and families. Recently, we recommended a district wide reduction in force related to our Budget Redesign effort. Our goal is to manage our financial challenges while maintaining or even improving our services.
Tulsa Public Schools will expand its dual language program offerings in the 2020-2021 school year, adding dual language programming at Disney Elementary, expanding dual language programming at Kendall-Whittier Elementary, and launching a multilingual junior high content language pathway at Will Rogers College Junior High.
Next week Superintendent Deborah Gist will present to our Board of Education a recommendation to adjust the boundary of Cooper Elementary school to include the Metro Plex Garden Apartments.
